CHARACTER INFORMATION; NAME: Yuffie Kisaragi CANON: Final Fantasy VII AGE: 16 OCCUPATION: High School Student, Grade 11. Heiress to Kisaragi and Co. Law Offices. RESIDENCE: Rabanastre Apartment Complex
PERSONALITY: She may come off as a total annoyance at times but Yuffie is actually very friendly, helpful and loving of close friends. She’s optimistic, proud, brash and even somewhat aggressive and doesn’t think twice about saying exactly what is on her mind. She’s assertive and demanding. Her sarcasm is thick when she’s in a bad mood or when she thinks people aren’t being real with her. She thinks politics and drama are trivial and pointless.
She’s rebellious and outspoken, which makes it hard to make friends sometimes, but for those who can actually trust her, she’s a wonderful and brutally honest friend. She’s easily obsessive and has a tendency to over exaggerate.
BIOGRAPHY: So what if she lives apart from her dad and their big stupid mansion in Wutai Town? All he really cares about is honor and “traditions” and could give two craps about the real world. So she moved out on her own even before she was finished high school. To Yuffie, spending one more day with that tool of a father would drive her completely bonkers.
Okay, so what if her Rabanastre two bedroom apartment was paid for by her father. Okay, so what if her books, food and clothing were all paid for by her father…She still wasn’t going to talk to him. Ew.
The real world was about money and assets. If only her father would realize that the real way to bring his law firm back from the graveyard was if he was smarter about his money and business. If only he would realize he had to spend some money to make his firm great again then maybe her family wouldn’t be such a laughing stock of the business community. If only he would put the money in to build a better office, hire powerful employees, advertise more…
Well things would change eventually. Yuffie wasn’t about to see her family just waste away into economic dust. No, she was going to do something about it. Eventually. Then she could throw it all in her dad’s face about how ridiculous honor and being a traditional family and “upholding true honor and justice in the courtroom” was.
The world was changing!
THREE NOTES: 1. Yuffie is a kleptomaniac. Even if an item is trivial and useless she’ll take it without even realizing she did. 2. She is extremely strong and accurate at throwing things. Darts, horseshoes, pitching a baseball… 3. Yuffie takes gymnastics classes.
WRITING INFORMATION: JOURNAL ENTRY SAMPLE: Oh my gawd, what the hell is going on in this stupid town! Is it national “DRIVE LIKE A TOTAL IDIOT” day or something because I sure didn’t get the freaking memo!
Some guy nearly ran me over with his ugly car today and he didn’t even stop or apologize to me! HE COULD HAVE KILLED ME. WHAT DO I LOOK LIKE TO YOU, ROAD KILL? UGH!
Next time I see that guy I’m dragging my keys into the doors of his stupid ugly car! Let’s see him learn some respect from that!!!
I hate cars.
[Private to Yuffie]
Ugh. My apartment. Is so empty. I think I need a roommate. It’s too quiet and if I don’t get someone soon I might just paint imaginary people on my walls. Haa.
I found a watch in my pocket today. Rolex! LUCKY! I wonder how I got it.
[/Private to Yuffie]
THIRD PERSON SAMPLE: The day was gorgeous, as usual. Yuffie could hear the birds chirping away in the fresh air, the sun shining brightly overhead. The hum of city life rumbled softly around her.
She loved the city; there was nowhere else she would rather be right now than these busy streets. If there was one thing she agreed with her dad on, it was this city. The hustle and bustle was perfect for her, and she had been here since she was born. Her family had lived in Memoria for generations, and someday, she planned to carry on here as well.
But only sometimes, Yuffie liked to look up high into the sky and into the distance at the mountains so far away. Sometimes she wondered what it would be like to go exploring them on a hike or go camping. It was this strange temporary urge for exploration that sometime left her longing for something more…
Distracted, Yuffie didn’t notice the loud growl coming from her left as she sauntered out onto the dusty crosswalk. Moments later a bright red car sped past her at such an alarming speed that it nearly took Yuffie’s foot off and she fiercely leaped back in surprise. Luckily, she had decent sense and was a quick little thing.
Nonetheless, Yuffie filled with a bright rage and threw her fists in the air, flailing them in anger as she watched the speeding car race away into the distance.
“YOU FREAK! WATCH WHERE YOU’RE GOING!” She howled.
