• What do you mean by paradise?
The city itself is shielded from all forms of weather, meaning that it is warm and summer-like almost every day with no Winter or Fall. Sometimes anomalies will happen with the weather, such as a slight drizzle of rain or drafty wind, but it is usually a beautiful day. Other than the weather the city is like any other modern day city with the same culture, technology and problems. The city is also completely self-sustainable.
• So the characters are not actually from this universe?
The true worlds they should be in are their canon universes from their games. Those are their real lives. They have somehow been transported here and have no memory how they got here, and think they have always lived here. Any past memories they have outside of Memoria City, like childhood or relationships or death, are forgotten.
• Will the characters ever find out that this world is a fake and not the one they’re actually from?
They shouldn’t be able to know that they are in the wrong universe and should only be aware of their lives having always been here. It's as if all of the characters are stuck in an inescapable city and don't know it. Eventually, characters will experience dreams or déjà vu about their real worlds, and they will begin to reconstruct their true pasts.
• Do the characters still have inhuman abilities or magic?
No, all characters will be rendered completely human, stripping them of any magic or other abilities.
• Do chocobos and moogles exist?
Yes. These are the only fictitious creatures from the Final Fantasy universe that will exist. Chocobos are often used as racing animals and as entertainment transportation (e.g. a ride through the park with a chocobo-drawn carriage). Moogles are semi-intelligent, speaking animals (Like Mog from FF13-2), often kept as companion pets.
• My character is originally not human, what are they now?
All characters are transformed into human form! That includes all animal characters, inhuman races and any form of summons, aeons or eidolons.
• What Final Fantasy characters can I play?
You can play any character that is classified as a canon character from the Final Fantasy series. That includes the games, movies, animes, and the extension games, such as Final Fantasy Tactics and Chocobo's Dungeon. You can’t, however, play technically original characters such as the ones made in Crystal Chronicles or Final Fantasy XI/XIV (You can play NPCS, however). You can play personified versions of all summons, aeons, eidolons and espers as well, which is highly encouraged!
• Can I play a Kingdom Hearts character since there are Final Fantasy characters in it?
Yes, but they can only be the characters canon to that game series. No Disney characters (Donald, Tron, etc) allowed. Any characters created within the Kingdom Hearts universe are allowed (Sora, Zexion, etc.).
• Are characters that are dead in canon, playable?
Yes. Any characters that are dead in canon, are alive and well in this universe. Keep in mind that when it comes time to face the truth, they will need to come to terms with the fact that they are actually deceased.
